ZZPerformance GM Short Valve Cover Breather replaces oil cap LSX LS1 LS6 LS3. The price will only go up in the future. As usual, we introduced a new product to the market at or below our cost to get the buzz out there and prove it's a great product. Another custom product from ZZPerformance.

This shorter Valve Cover Breather simply replaces your oil cap on your valve cover. It's designed to let air into the crank-case on supercharged engines or to vent crank gases on engines with aftermarket power adders. We wanted to design a valve cover breather that was simple to install and match the fitment like a factory oil cap. This is a one piece design. Other companies make adaptors to couple with an aftermarket breather.

The design was based off the factory oil cap and includes the sealing O ring. Since then, we have been informed that they have seen gains in power and lower oil temps after installation. The actual filter part of the breather is 1.5 in height as we have had a person return one because he had a aftermarket strut tower bar in the way. So if your oil cap is located really high with something in front of it please take a tape measure to verify if you have the clearance for this.

Applications examples:All LS1 Engines and pretty much all GM vehicles with the twist and lock style oil cap. Don't worry if your vehicle is not listed on the compatibility chart. There are thousands of applications it works for.

These basically work on any GM vehicles with the twist and lock style factory oil cap. Based on the large number of compatible vehicles, it would take us hours and hours to look up and list every single one. It is still your responsibility to go off of the dimensions provided on the breather to see if you have the clearance for it. If your oil cap is real close to your hood it probably won't fit. This is our newest version that we custom made shorter due to some LS engines having clearance issues.

Our old design was over an inch taller than this one. (We had a customer tell us this doesn't fit the 3.6L camaro because the hole is recessed in). 2007+ Pontiac G5 2.2.

3.8L Chevy Impala's, Monte Carlo's, Park Avenue's, etc. This will NOT work for the 2.0 Cadillac ATS or LTG Camaro 2.0 or any of the newer 2015+ 2.0 turbo engines. Look for ZZPerformance on all social platforms!
