69 Camaro RS Convertible fresh barn find. Theres a lot to say about this car. Ownership was assumed by a relative in 83 who at some point started some level of restoration that was not completed and consequently the car ended up in storage for many decades.

Engine and Driveline looks to be the original and unmolested L65 350 ci V8 with 2 spd power glide and an open 10 bolt rear. Engine pad reads V1219HF for a 250hp 2 barrel carb 5.7l. I have a video of the engine running showing 40psi oil pressure at idle and the vehicle starts right up and yard drives. Hydraulic brakes have no line pressure, so don't plan on driving it home!

Interior is also un touched. Starting with the rally gauge package including a working in dash tach, center console with working gauges. Front door panels in amazing survivor condition. Seats are very respectable for their age still covered in the deluxe comfort weave fabric. Hard to get and not well replicated convertible rear arm rest panels are still in tact and not rotted. All grab bars and wood grain trim are present and definitely useable. Console is in good shape. Power top goes up and down smoothly! On the outside the remnants of the factory installed RS package are still in place. Original taillamp panel with factory backup lamp cut outs. Hood looks to be original and in good shape. Fenders and valences are in amazing condition.

Doors are original and could be saved with a new pair of skins. Full GM quarter panels were properly installed at some point, sans the paint, and are in great shape needing some surface rust removal. Cowl, firewall, dash and rocker panels all look good with minor issues.

Both hidden vins are present and legible. All exterior stainless trim is still un touched and in great shape. Front bumper and grille are also in excellent restorable condition. Rear foot wells, trunk floor and right rail need some attention. In summary a real RS, X11 convertible with coveted Daytona Yellow exterior and deluxe comfort weave interior, full rally gauge package, original driveline running project mostly unmolested survivor.
