Original Tuxedo BLACK car code 10 10 - only. 6% 1969 Camaros were black. This is an extremely rare and very special car!
It is an ORIGINAL X77 Z28, all original metal, TEXAS car, with its all matching numbers drivetrain as well as THE ORIGINAL PROTECTO PLATE!! DZ302 - THE ORIGINAL MOTOR with the partial VIN by the oil filter - matches the protecto plate. THE Original Muncie M21 4 speed transmission with VIN as well - matches the protecto plate.
12 bolt 3.73 posi rear end - BU coded, matches the protecto plate. Black standard interior - code 711. Power steering, power front discs. Factory FW rally wheels with correct Goodyear E70-15 bias ply Polyglass tires.
Dover White Z28 stripes - painted correctly. The car is supposed to be a 71,000 mile car. It has a great story as well. The first 4 owners were all in the Dallas / Ft Worth areas within 40 miles of each other. Build date June first week of 1969.
69 12437 NOR 357438 BDY. The engine code is V0604DZ. The car is an X77 code car, with the style trim added. It also had power steering added a few years ago as well as most all real X77 Z28's did not have power steering. The Car had a body up restoration in 1990 with a base/ clear Glasurit paint job.
The paint is older, well over 30 years. I would NOT say in show condition at all, but a great looking car from 10 feet. There are several paint imperfections, or older paint issues, but NOT RUST!
Extremely straight with great lines and body gaps. All the glass is original date coded except the windshield. It has been replaced at some point. Under the car is ALL original, not undercoated. It does have some Day 2 traction bars.
We did put a new zinc plated gas tank in it. We just pulled the engine and freshened the engine bay as well as captured pics including the hidden VIN on the cowl. The engine bay is definitely show quality. Day 2 style black headers with factory style Chambered exhaust. All correct tower clamps and GM hoses under hood.If you are serious call me or text and I will get back to you if I miss you. You can see it at my shop. Here is more detailed information.
The car is a very solid, very clean original styled 1969 Camaro with the only modifications being the headers and traction bars. The car is very clean and in very good condition. Its a good looking car perfect for cruising and enjoying! I would not say this is a show car.The engine bay is original styled with no mods there at all except the headers. The paint is very shiny, but does have minor chips here and there and some paint imperfections. To be show quality, the car really needs to be painted in my opinion.
To just drive and enjoy, it is a great car as it is now. If you are serious, lets discuss. This is NOT your average 1969 Camaro. Very good condition for a car that is over 51 years old that you dont see many of these days. You can drive, cruise, or show it, whatever your preference is on how you choose to enjoy it!Wait around to see what happens, because you just might miss it. The CAR has a CLEAR TITLE. So YES, It DOES HAVE A TITLE and should be legally registered and licensed in MOST STATES.
Any certified checks will have to fully clear all banks prior to new owner taking possession. If you made it this far, thanks for your patience and I hope you enjoy looking at the Car!
